Terms · pre-launch

A clear agreement for an unfinished thing.

These terms cover the SAINT website, the Founding Circle, the invited private pilot, the refundable instrument reservation and the service subscription. Final sale terms for a finished instrument come before we ask for the remaining balance.

01

Who these terms are with

SAINT is currently a development-stage project based in Helsinki. We publish the contracting entity, registered address and business ID here before the remaining instrument balance is charged. Questions may be sent to legal@sa-nt.com.

02

Website and Founding Circle

You may browse the website, request early access and contribute research feedback. Joining the Founding Circle does not create a purchase, reservation, investment, employment relationship or guarantee that a device will ship. Benefits, timing, quantities, specifications and pricing may change while the product is developed.

You must provide accurate details and be at least 18 years old.

03

Instrument reservation

A reservation holds one place in the first edition against your name. You pay 50 in EUR, USD, SGD or GBP per instrument. The amount is a fixed figure in the currency you choose, not a conversion of the instrument price.

It is refundable on request. Write from your order email and we return the full amount; the place is released.

A reservation is not a purchase of an instrument, a delivery promise or a start of service. It does not begin the service term included with an instrument. We never charge the remaining balance on our own: it follows a separate invitation and your confirmation, under final sale terms we publish first. Those terms will state the inspection period, withdrawal process, return destination, refund timing and warranty.

The delivery estimate of February–May 2028 is an estimate, not a committed date. We write to you before it changes. Your statutory rights, including any right of withdrawal, apply on top of this section and are not reduced by it.

04

Service subscription

The service costs €25 a month, billed monthly through Stripe, and you may cancel at any time. The first fourteen days are free, and no card is taken until you decide. Applying for a seat bills nobody; the payment link comes from SAINT after the free days.

When an instrument includes a service term, the term starts the day the service starts for you, not the day you order. An included term is a stated number of months, never a lifetime. If we stop offering the service, we refund the unused part of an included term.

Anything SAINT buys on your behalf is your money at the merchant’s price. We add nothing to it.

05

Private pilot

Pilot access is personal, limited, revocable and may be governed by a separate invitation, NDA, device-loan agreement or data-processing arrangement. Prototype hardware remains SAINT property unless agreed otherwise and must be handled, charged and returned as instructed.

The service may change, pause, lose data or behave unexpectedly. Back up anything important and do not rely on the pilot for emergencies, safety-critical tasks or guaranteed availability.

06

Capture, recording and other people

You control when you ask SAINT to capture. Visible lights, sounds or haptics help communicate state but do not themselves create legal consent. You are responsible for telling people nearby, obtaining any required permission and following local recording, confidentiality and workplace rules.

Do not use SAINT for covert surveillance, harassment, biometric identification, unlawful monitoring or to capture material you have no right to process.

07

AI output and confirmed actions

Transcripts, summaries, recommendations and generated speech may be incomplete or wrong. Check important names, dates, amounts, commitments and instructions. SAINT is not a medical, legal, financial or emergency service.

Consequential external actions should require your explicit confirmation. You remain responsible for decisions you make and for reviewing any action carried out on your instruction.

08

Acceptable use

You must not break the law; infringe privacy, intellectual-property or confidentiality rights; attempt to defeat security; reverse engineer protected services except where law permits it; overload the service; distribute malware; impersonate others; or use SAINT to produce or facilitate harm.

We may limit or suspend access to protect people, the service or the pilot.

09

Your material and our work

You keep ownership of material you submit. You grant SAINT the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit and transform it to provide and secure the pilot. You confirm you have the rights required to submit it.

SAINT’s brand, product designs, software, documentation and original content remain protected by intellectual-property law. Feedback may be used to improve the product without restriction or payment, but we will not publicly attribute it to you without permission.

10

Privacy and confidentiality

Our privacy notice explains personal-data handling. A private pilot may expose confidential product information. Keep non-public hardware, software, pricing and roadmap details confidential when your invitation or NDA says so.

11

Responsibility

The pre-launch website and pilot are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent law allows. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer rights. Sections 03 and 04 apply to the reservation and the service now. Final sale terms for the finished instrument will define warranties, remedies and liability before the remaining balance is charged.

12

Changes, ending access and law

We may update these terms as the project matures. Material changes will be identified here and, where appropriate, sent to participants. You may stop using the website or pilot at any time; obligations concerning confidentiality, intellectual property, responsibility and lawful records may survive.

These terms are governed by Finnish law, subject to any mandatory protections available in your country. Disputes should first be raised at legal@sa-nt.com. Nothing prevents a consumer from using the courts or authorities available under mandatory law.
